OVERVIEW:
Smackdown opens up to a quick 9 minute match between Sheamus and the Great Khali. For half of it Khali is slightly dominating the match by overpowering Sheamus. Eventually Khali locks him in the Vice-Grip, but Sheamus finds away out and hits a Brogue Kick on Khali following with a pin. After the match a promo for a tag-team match with Randy Orton & John Morrison facing off against Christian & R-Truth, is displayed before cutting to commerical.
We come back to Smackdown, to a Divas Match. AJ makes her way to the ring, awaiting Natalya entrance it's a match between mentor and student I guess. It starts being pretty techinical with reversal after reversal, nothing too impressive just yet. Natalya quickly locks in the Sharpshooter and AJ taps out in secs, then Natalya puts a bigger beating onto AJ at ringside. Following the beat, Natalya then says she sides with Beth Phoenix on her beatdown to Kelly Kelly on Raw this week. Also tonight we got a State of the Showski Address from the one and only Long Island Iced-Z, ZAC RYDER!
After another commerical break, Matt Striker has an interview with Randy Orton over last weeks match with R-Truth, where Orton beat Truth down with a chair and hit 2 RKOs onto the announce table. Orton replies how he was just unleashing agression and will do the same to Christian at Summerslam. Then we cut to Justin Gabriel's return to South Africa meeting the fans and such. I'm guessing they're planning to turn him back to being a face! Following the promo, Wade Barrett comes down to ringside to join commentary to watch an upcoming Daniel Bryan match.
Tyson Kid is already in the ring, while Daniel Bryan makes his entrance with new theme. The match is pretty techinical, while Barrett bitches about Bryan and his finishing move. Somehow the match turns in Tyson's favor as they go to a commerical break, when returning from the break it's still in Tyson's favor. Tyson is mostly working on Byran's knees locking in Indian Death-Locks. Byran breaks out, goes to the turnbuckle and drops a Dropkick, thus the tide changes. Then it flips back and forth for awhile, until Bryan hits a Roundhouse Kick and his new submission finisher.
We come to the State of the Showski Address with Zac Ryder, just Tony Chimmel doesn't give Ryder a good introduction. Shortly after starting Ezekiel Jackson, comes out and joins him in the ring, followed by Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase. Then they aruge about how Ted Dibiase is used and such, followed by General Manager Theodore Long to come out and announce Ezekiel Jackson vs Zac Ryder. Ryder, easily then gets jobbed out by tapping out to Jackson's Torture Rack. Then we cut to "the new" Aksana debut on Smackdown, as she introduces herself to GM Long.
Mark Henry makes his way to the ring for a match to face off with Vladimir Kozlov, who was recently released from his contract today. Mark quickly beats Vladimir, then wraps Vladimir's ankle in a steel chair before slamming down on it. Sheamus flys down to the ring with a chair in hand, chasing out Mark as a strecher comes out for Vladimir. Following the match, backstage John Morrison is flying about demoing some free-running for tonight's main-event.
Sheamus runs into Tod Grisham, for an interview. Sheamus talks how he's going to take out Mark Henry like how he took out Big Show and Kane. Following the interview come back to David Otunga, Micheal McGillicuty & JTG coming to the ring for a 6-Man Tag Match, their opponents are Trent Barreta, & the Uso's. The match isn't too great, and is having a slow start. At the sametime Booker T put on his Twitter "Michael Cole is a TOOL", remind you of anyone?(Check RDM's Blog Again!) Back to the match during that time, all hell breaks loose between all 6 Men leading to McGuillicuty and Otunga taking out Barreta for the win.
Just great a new Johnny Curtis promo, leading to his debut next week. Followed by the Raw Rebound, at this time you should probably go re-read Raw 8/1 review to help fill in the blanks. After the Raw Rebound, we cut to an interview with Christian the World Heavyweight Champion. He talks of how Smackdown has a conspiracy , where then R-Truth appears and talks about Lil' Jimmys leading into Orton's enterance and another commerical break.
After the break we come to Morrison and the opposing teams' entrances. Orton and R-Truth start off the match. Soon each tag out switching to Morrison and Christian, the pace of the match gets better. A commerical break occurs and we come back to Morrison and R-Truth. Morrison is really taking a beating from R-Truth and Christian, until Morrison hits a Ride the Wave. Orton and Christian get tagged in and the pace really picked up. Orton hits some signatures along with Christian, Morrison and R-Truth battle outside, leading to Christian hitting the KillSwitch and getting the pin for his team.
Review:
Alright well this Smackdown started off with some okay matches, and had good results. The way they're promoting Sheamus now as like Hogan/HHH persona, is good by having go up against Khali, then going over to Natalya dominating AJ and siding with Beth on her actions on RAW. Then the few following promos really being to help the upcoming Summerslam and Justin Gaberial as a face. Following the Daniel Bryan match the next couple of matches, kind of suck. They don't really catch my attention.
It's not until the Main Event that Smackdown ends on somewhat of a good note. The tag-team match is great, the brawling and the promoting for the Summerslam match for the World Heavyweight Championship are really amped. The result could've gone almost either way for sometime it felt. Overall this was practically an ok SmackDown, the opening matches really helped with the storylines WWE are making. I'm enjoying how the dominate Divas are taking out the "Barbie Dolls" and enjoying Sheamus face-turn. The Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett is becoming a great plot or I hope it will be. I'm hoping that this Summerslam will actually turn out great, with the matches being promoting like Sheamus vs Mark Henry, Cena vs Punk for the WWE Championship, and Orton vs Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship in a No-Holds Barred match. Hell I hope I won't come out swearing to this upcoming PPV next Sunday!

My Top 10 WWE Themes Currently Used
In Wrestling almost every superstar has a Entrance Theme. A few are amazing, alot are catchy and others just plain out suck. Some great things thou about these themes are that famous or popular bands perform these themes. Bands such as Rev Theory, Saliva, Motorhead, Downstait, Alter Bridge, and Drowning Pool along side WWE's resident Music Director Jim Johnston. Recently in these past months many new themes debut and changed my views on what I conceive as the best in the business. So I then decide to make my list of the Top 10 Themes currently in use and this is what I came up with!
1. CM Punk - Cult of Personality by Living Colour
2. Dolph Ziggler - I am Perfection V2 by Downstait
3. Wade Barrett & the Corre - End of Days V9 by Rev Theory
4. Alex Riley(on the left) - Say it to My Face by Downstait
5.The Miz(on the right) - I Came to Play by Downstait
6. Sheamus - Written in My Face by Sean Jenness
7. Randy Orton - Voices by Rev Theory
8. Christian - Just Close Your Eyes by Story Of the Year
9. Zac Ryder(on the left) - Radio - Watt White
10. Curt Hawkins(on the far right) - In the Middle of it Now by Disciple

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/1
OVERVIEW:
Raw opened up to a promo video reviewing the Money in the Bank, and then end result to Mysterio vs Cena for the WWE Championship on last week's Raw. Following that they promoted Punk and the Cult of Personality. Leading right into the intro of Raw and CM Punk's entrance.
The crowd was mixed to entrance, the god damn C-Nation ruined the whole moment. Following the entrance, they cut a promo with Punk shouting "The Champ is Here!" Punk then revealed why he chose to stay, saying he's here to make it fun again and he's the Best in the World. Then Triple H soon came out, the crowd exploded! Triple H, then followed with why Punk was resigned along with JR, cause it was good for business. "Smug, Overrated, Attention Seeking Guy that puts too much stock in his own hype!" Triple H's view on CM Punk, and the crowd then switched for Punk. It's like this crowd was bipolar or something, they couldn't make up their minds. Hell then a battle of Egos ensued between Triple H and Punk. Until the "Pipe Bomb" went off.
Up next was some hype for a tag team match, Rey Mysterio & John Morrison vs the Miz & R-Truth and the Diva's Number 1 Contender Battle Royal. Leading to the first commerical break, of the night. We cut back to most of the Divas in the ring and Kelly Kelly joining commentary with JR, King and Cole. The match went fast as usual, and the new Contender for Kelly's Championship was the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix. Who then proceed to beat down Kelly following her victory. Leading to more hype for the tag team match, with a promo with Miz and R-Truth.
After the 2nd or 3rd commerical break we come back to a short promo with Josh Matthews and John Cena. Leading in to the tag match mentioned earlier, that lead into yet another commerical break. So far we had alot of hype, promos and commericals and no wrestling! Finally the match, began with Miz and Morrison, then a tag leading to another commerical break! This match began to suck and it probably was because R-Truth was in it or nothing fancy was really happening. The crowd was exploding thou mostly for Morrison, sadly thou his team lost and Miz & R-Truth won.
Following the Tag Match, Josh interviews Triple H about the earlier promo with Punk and the WWE Championship issue. Next we got a promo for Sheamus vs Mark Henry on Smackdown this week, and leading to US Champion Dolph Ziggler & Vikki Guerrero coming down to the ring. While on the name tag it promoted the release of his new edition of "I Am Perfection" on Itunes! Dolph then cut a promo about being one of the best right now on the roster, and pretty much giving an open challenge to which then Alex Riley came out to interrupt him. Riley then starts to tell Ziggler to kick Vikki aside and go his own way, the result being Dolph leaving the ring. As we cut to promotions for the WWE Championship Controversy and another Tag Team Match, New Nexus vs Santino & Zac Ryder!
This tag team match was better for the fact Long Island Iced-Z, Zac Ryder was in it. The crowd really wants him, the were exploding when he got tagged in. Then Michael Cole trashed Youtube, youtubers and Broskis everywhere! When will WWE fire Cole, he's the biggest tool in the freaking world. He's like some other tool I know who said a certain group of youtubers' had low quality videos. Just go check out Projektrdm's blog to find out who I mean. Anyways Ryder and Santino lost and we went into another boring set of commericals.
We come back to then a recap of the encounter between Triple H and CM Punk from about an hour prior. Then cutting to Punk in an interview with Josh Matthews, leading to a match with Alberto Del Rio against Evan Bourne. Leading to a fast pase match and Evan Bourne tapping out.
Finally we get to the end of the show and the commentary reveals a poll on who should be the real WWE Champion and it showed Cena 54% to Punk 46%. Leading to Triple H coming out to reveal what he's going to about the controversy, and then John Laurinaitis came out say John Cena should be striped of the title. John Cena then came out to tell off Laurinatis, creating more entertainment between the arugement. Laurinaitis left shortly when Cena said he'd punch him in the face. Triple H then said Punk was resigned when he came with contract signed and said my favorite quote "Now Hit My Music!" following into Punk also interrupting Triple H and John Cena. Then Triple H made the edict Cena vs Punk at Summerslam to see who will be the Undisputed WWE Champion, while taking his leave. Following with a face-off between our two Champion, with their music playing back and forth in a war of themes.
Review:
My review on this is that this was like that one TNA Impact where no wrestling happened, but at least had alot more better promos. The matches didn't really impress me, along with the fact being John Morrison and Zac Ryder were the only reasons those matches had large reactions until they lost. The opening promo was pretty good, have the battle of Egos. Especially when Punk tried calling out Triple H, lead to the whole Pipe Bomb jokes. Then the final edict to settle this issue was pretty good when Punk and Cena had that stand-off with the Theme War.
Other things to note were the Michael Cole's remarks toward Youtube. I know it's all fake but being a Youtuber and have to be told your videos are shit within about 2 weeks you get tired of hearing it. I seriously grown tired of Cole's bitching gimmick it's so bad he needs to be taken off air. Along with that I'm loving the whole spamming of Downstait themes like "I Came to Play", "Say it to My Face", and "I am Perfection(V2)"! But now this being the third Raw since Triple H's take over and having some bad or okay matches really made this Raw a 2.5 out of 5 Stars. That's all for now, but check in for more Raw Overviews/Reviews and other shows.

The Punk of Personality

On July 17 at WWE Money in the Bank, CM Punk defeated John Cena for the WWE Championship. That same night he walked away from the WWE and took the Championship with him. The following night on Monday Night Raw, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon stripped Punk of the championship and arranged an 8-man single elimination tournament to crown a new champion. The results would be Rey Mysterio and the Miz in finals which was then set to take place the following Raw, as Mr. McMahon was forced to resign as chairman with his son-in-law, Triple H taking over.
A week later on this most recent Monday Night Raw of July 25th, Rey Mysterio successfully defeat the Miz in the tournament finals to become WWE Champion. Eventually later on that night the new WWE COO Triple H would go on to make another championship match with Rey defending the title against John Cena who rightfully had a re-match cause that became nullified when Punk left the WWE. The match was actually a great match to remember going a full 20-mins, and had some memorable moments like when Rey locked Cena in his own STF, or the several finisher reversals each man made. The end result thou was John Cena defeating Rey Mysterio to become a 9-time WWE Champion.

But immediately following Cena's title win, Punk returned to WWE TV and held his belt up in defiance of Cena's win. Also debuting his new enterance theme back from his ROH days, "The Cult of Personality." The following night at the SmackDown! tapings, WWE COO Triple H announced that both men had legitimate claims to the title and the situation would be rectified the following Monday on RAW.
